Nearing final stages of development is Medica’s first, true random access, clinical chemistry analyzer, “EasyRA.” Offering the reliability of larger instruments, EasyRA will be an easy-to-use, economical, bench-top design. EasyRA is fully automated, with 24 sample positions and 24 reagents on board, designed to accommodate the diverse needs of the physician’s office or small lab. Another AACC meeting has come and gone. It was a good meeting and I had a chance to meet with many of Medica’s international distributors. We showed two new products that are on schedule to be released in the first quarter 2007: EZRA, a new bench-top chemistry analyzer, and a new hematology imaging system called EasyCell.
Both products were well received. Booth traffic was busy every day as attendees lined up to take a look at EZRA and EasyCell. We learned a great deal from our future customers about what they require in a small bench-top chemistry analyzer. I believe all concluded that EZRA will be a great success.
See you at the next show!

Welcome to the new Medica News page. Actually, we have replaced the old Medica News page with a blog. Just as people use blogs to tell their stories on the internet, the Medica News Blog will tell the continuing story of Medica.
I welcome your comments, so if you wish, click the blue “comments” link at the end of this message to post your thoughts. Send me any questions you may have about Medica, and send me photos of Medica products in use. I see this blog as a way for Medica to learn more about the people who use our products. Are we meeting your needs? Are you receiving the service support you require? My hope is that from your comments we can learn how best to serve you and become a better company.
In upcoming posts, I will talk about new products that we plan to release, and trade shows where we exhibit our products. So visit often and let me know what you think.
