Senior Quality Control Technician
The Senior Quality Control Technician will support a variety of areas within Medica Corporation’s Quality Control department:
Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the organization’s quality standards. Follows basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the organization’s quality standards.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform inspections across all stages of production as necessary.
- Program and operate computer-controlled image measuring equipment (Keyence).
- Perform First Article inspections, Capability Studies, and Measurement Systems Analysis as required.
- Develop and maintain inspection reports.
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, with 5+ years of related Quality Control experience.
- Associate’s or equivalent degree with 2+ years of related Quality Control experience.
- Ability to read mechanical or electrical blueprints including interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience using and programming computer-controlled image coordinate measuring equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ASME/ANSI Y14.5 GT&T Standard.
- Knowledge of QSR, ISO 13485 requirements.
- General understanding of statistical techniques.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize the workload and effective time management.
